Sooo welcome to college where having clean pans all the time... a rare sight! So when all the frying/saute pans were dirty..but I wanted pancakes... I had to change it up a bit! I decided to see if I could make pancake bars! VOILA! They came out perfect!!!! I made Apple Cinnamon Protein Pancake bars by adding a few extra ingredients to the amazing FlapJacked mix! Seriously.. this stuff is so good! Typically just mix with COLD water and make perfect protein pancakes that are delicious! Find at your local grocer, health market, or online! Sooo if you feel like having something other than just pancakes... try these out! (not to mention you can eat the whole pan :) ) RECIPE: 1/2C flapjacked mix(65g in the end-- could use Kodiak Power Pancake mix too) 30g greek yogurt (️vanilla or plain) 1/4C+1TBSP COLD WATER 1/2 small apple(30g) 1tsp Cinnamon 2 packets stevia 1/2 tsp baking powder (i used a no sodium kind to keep my salt levels down) 1/4 tsp vanilla 1/4 tsp butter flavoring. Mix all ingredients well into a batter. Let sit and thicken for 5 minutes... Pour into a baking dish and bake at 350 for 15 minutes!! Serve with pancake syrup dipping sauce 😍😍😍😍 Macros for the entire dish 250cals- 41C,3F, and 20P!!!! |
