Hello my loves! <3
So yesterday was Valentine's Day... or as I like to call it SINGLE AWARENESS DAY... Yup as some people say I am "single and ready to mingle" hahahaha!
Can I be honest with you all? OKAY GOOD.
Having a significant other is not a huge concern for me at this time in my life. I am really trying to focus on my health, school, work, and loving myself... I need to love myself before I give love to another person at that degree. If I am in a relationship, I want to give my full attention and love to them. Give them the care they deserve.. treat them with respect... and be there like a relationship requires and I don't know if I can so that right now. So for now I am okay with being single! Plus a girl can have a lot of fun in NYC being single ;)
Anyway... since it was Valentine's Day.. the day of love... I wanted to finally attempt at doing something for me.. love myself.. treat myself.. and you don't need a significant other to do that. Soooo i made it my treat meal day!
**treat meal: a meal of something out of the norm of my usual eating habits but still fits within the macros given to me. I go in knowing its okay to eat and that I deserve to enjoy the food. I DO NOT do CHEAT MEALS.. that makes it seem like I did something wrong by wanting a different food.. or one that is deemed overall "less healthy" typically.. and will NOT feel guilty about eating**
I started with my favorite breakfast... full of carbs, protein, and fats! A bagel with NutZez Almond Butter, a mini pita toasted, an omelete with avocado, and an apple with peanut butter... YES this is my breakfast... its alot of food but again i have to full my workouts and life!

the I went and did my workout :) killed those back and chest muscles... then climbed the rock wall for fun!
Then I decided I wanted something I haven't had in a while but was craving... a nice, big, juicy, BURGER! :O YUP who am I? A burger.. but Erin.. thats SOOOO unhealthy, fattening... NO NO NO NO! Its carbs, protein, fat just like any other food! The bun.. great source of carbs, the patty-- perfect protein and lean fats for a healthy meal combo!
SOOO I went to a place called Bareburger because they had something I LOVE... BISON BURGERS! Yup Bison is a great game meat. It's higher in fat, but the flavor is amazing and again, I don't have it often so perfect to add in to my treat meal...
Then what would Valentine's Day be without candy... and what better way to get some candy then going to the M+M World in times square???? NOTHING! It has a huge M+M wall of every flavor known to man! SO i loaded up a nice big baggie of fun colors and devoured!
Of course, when I got back home I decided to catch up on some of my favorite TV shows on HULU and devoured my amazing greek yogurt pro yo bowl with my leftover macros for the day (wait you can eat breakfast, a burger, candy, dinner, and still have to eat a giant pro yo bowl?? YES! Eat fuel the body! Greek yogurt, banana slices, nut butter, red velvet protein brownie, red velvet pop tart, and some left over M+M's :) t'was the perfect ending to a perfect day!
Just rememeber... sometimes the best love isn't from somebody else... LOVE is only about having a heightened sense of gratitude and deep affection... So remember to have some self love.. some self affection! You are worth LOVE!
