Well it has been 2 weeks now for me back in my city and I am loving it!! I have been trying to get back in the groove of living in the dorms, wandering the city, working out and making gains, incorporating many fear foods, and trying to be more social and less isolated this school year! :)
My favorite activity other than weight lifting is wandering through NYC finding all sorts of little shops/boutiques or seeing the sights. This past week I made my way to Yankee Stadium in the Bronx because I had never been! As an avid sports lover, I knew this had to change! The weather finally cooperated and I jumped on the 4 train to the Bronx! It was fun to just get out and see the city I have the amazing chance to live in!

Another thing I am trying to do this year is fight the ED voices in my head and incorporate some fear foods! The really great thing about NYC is food is everywhere: all types, ethnic backgrounds, and brands come out with limited edition flavors and NYC of course has them stocked and ready! As you all know... my love of Target is massive... and there is one at Barclays/Atlantic Ave only a train ride away! So to conquer some fear, I went out with my new friend Kaitlyn and we stocked up on EVERY limited edition flavor of my fear foods... POP TARTS, BEN AND JERRY'S, BAGELS, CEREAL, OREOS and PEANUT BUTTER :)... check out the haul.. YES THOSE ARE RED VELVET OREOS! :DDD I am super excited to try it all...now if only I knew where to store it in my dorm hahaha!
Of course I am still going to classed which are going great!... and to prove it here are my notes for Microeconomics... yup so studiousA
To be more social.. I am trying the spring recruitment for one of the sorority on campus... although there's 200 girls vying for 11 spots.. I still wanted to try and meet some new people and try to be a normal college kid.. Yes I struggle socially fitting in.. surprised?? Don't be.. my ED last year isolated me so I want this year to be different... I want to feel like a normal college kid.. not one with an ED
Anyway.. that's all I have for you lovelies right now! As I keep getting settled into life in NYC again I'll keep updating you!
Stay fit, free, and love life :)
XOXO
